About
Our childhood shapes us into the adults we become. By taking a step back to recognise and integrate the different parts of us, we can gain the ability to reshape ourselves. Knowledge and awareness of who we are, and a radical acceptance of ourselves; change and growth emerges as the inevitable and natural outcome.
In my private practice, I work with adults. I provide a safe space to process childhood trauma, dysfunctional family dynamics, relationship concerns, manage depression, anxiety, resolve eating disorders, life transitions, grief and loss, among other psycho-social concerns.
My approach is Psychodynamic and emotion-focused. I believe that my clients are the experts on themselves, while my role, is that of a facilitator. I view the quality of my relationship with my clients as the vehicle for the change my clients seek. I remain open to collaboration and bring humour to our work together.
While I draw from various disciplines to enrich my knowledge and work, my biggest teachers are my clients. I look forward to learning from them and about them.
