About
With a Masters' degree in Clinical Psychology, Vandana incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Expressive Arts techniques in her practice. Her passion lies in the transformative potential of ACT, especially in helping clients navigate the complexities of trauma.
Vandana has interest in the field of social and clinical psychology which is from the curiosity about the complexities of the human mind, the way our life experiences mould us, and how memories and associations form. This curiosity drives her to work with clients at a profound level, enabling them to gain deeper insights into their thoughts, feelings, and actions.
In 2020, Vandana launched Psychoflakes Counselling Centre, aiming to make therapy accessible to all. Her vision involves dismantling the societal taboo around seeking therapy and creating a secure environment for individuals to explore and heal. She firmly believe that by removing obstacles to seeking help, people can unlock their full potential.
Her primary emphasis is on crafting a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients can comfortably share their journeys and delve into their inner selves. Vandana views the therapy room as a place of fascination, not just seriousness. It's a space where individuals can discuss things they might have never vocalized before, rejuvenate their spirits, increase their laughter lines, and gain better control over their emotions. It's a place to find moments of awareness and experiences that uplift.
