About
Hello there!
I am Rashi (she/her), a mental health professional based in Surat, Gujarat. I have a private practice where I work online with young adults aged 18-35 to support them in their journey of healing and growth. I specialize in working with areas like stress, anxiety, depression, confidence, self-esteem, identity concerns, relationship and family concerns, intergenerational trauma, grief, academic and professional concerns, and other common themes associated with young adulthood.
In therapy, my aim is to create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative relationship that takes into account the unique experiences of each client. Therefore, my goal is to provide a supportive environment along with helpful tools/resources in a way that empowers the client to pave their own path toward their goals of healing and growth.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and therefore I use an eclectic approach by incorporating elements from different modalities like person-centered therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), etc. based on what works for each client. My approach is trauma-informed, queer-affirmative, and neurodiversity-affirming.
If you feel like we would be a good fit, feel free to reach out via my email for a free initial consultation. Thank you for reading and wish you all the best on your healing journey! Signing off with one of my favorite quotes -
"Shame dies when stories are told in safe spaces."
