About
I have a wide range of experience working with multiple populations with a special focus on adolescent mental health issues, having practised counselling with school students as well as juvenile offenders at a Government observation home.
I have a Level 1 certificate training in Satir's Transformational Systemic Therapy, Multi-cultural competence & evidence-based practices and extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am a certified trainer in counselling parents and adults about sexual abuse and how to prepare their children against abuse.
In practice, I use a combination of CBT, Supportive Therapy, Transformational Systemic Therapy in order to understand and help my clients.
In addition to my qualifications in the field of Psychology, I have a Bachelors degree in Social Work which helps me in providing not just curative & preventive but also rehabilitative care to my clients.
