About
I am a licensed mental health therapist, yoga teacher, and a Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) working in private practice in New Delhi, India. I have been interested in the symbiotic relationship between the body and the mind ever since I discovered the mental health benefits of yoga for myself. Now, as a mental health professional, I invite the client to involve their body as an essential instrument of healing from mental distress. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and queer-affirmative. I graduated with a Master’s in Counselling from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 2017. Further, I trained as a yoga teacher with a 500hr Yoga Teacher Training from The Yoga Institute (Mumbai, India) and a 200hr training in the Foundations of Yoga Therapy from Yoga Vahini (Chennai, India).
I work with children, adults, and couples, and welcome conversations to collaboratively determine how I would best support your healing by addressing factors related to your body, mind, and environment.
