About
I have done my post graduation in Counseling Psychology in 2010. I am also certified in Psychology First Aid by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Online) and Certified Happiness Life Coach.
Since 2017, I have been contributing in Times of India under Ask the Expert Column and I am happy to share with you all that the responses have also been translated in various languages like Hindi, Telugu, Indonesian and Croatian. I have also shared my thoughts in various print media such as, Midday, Mumbai Mirror, New Age Women, Teenager Today etc. I was honored by the Women of Excellence award by Women Economic Forum in 2018 .
Rachana, as my name means, ‘to create’, I has been inventing my own ways of evolving myself and my clients. I worked with different schools and institutes in Mumbai like Fidai Institutions, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Umang Foundation Trust. I founded Celebrating Life Welfare Trust to spread awareness about mental health in India and I practice under my company Insight Counseling Services LLP (ICS). I love conducting training programs and workshops on various psychology-related topics across India.
