About
Hey! I'm Kirti, a counselling psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and find a path to healing and growth. I am a trauma-informed and queer affirmative psychologist. My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change, and my role is to support you in discovering your strengths and developing the tools to cope with difficulties.
In our work together, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom technique (EFT) and mindfulness practices.
We'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in a safe and non-judgmental space, working at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I value empathy, respect, and authenticity, and I’m committed to creating a trusting environment where you feel heard and understood. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, or deeper personal struggles, I’m here to walk alongside you in the process of change.
I acknowledge that it takes courage to take the first step. If you’re ready to begin this journey, I look forward to meeting you and working together toward your mental health and well-being.
